Ordered a unit with software on a Monday and was delivered by the Wednesday.

Not installed yet, but have been provided with all the necessary installation and trouble shooting videos to get the job done. Hope to be installing it tomorrow.

Hi, I'm looking at a replacement for my 2012 vida, dice & laptop which for some reasons doesn't work with my 2007 v70 (separate thread on that).

I was going to get another dice & vida and seperately a better spec laptop as my current XP one will melt if I put windows 7 pro on it!

So, I wondered, if you could let me know:
If you have any Dice, VIDA & laptop combos set up and ready to go?
What kinda of spec the laptop is

I also remember reading somewhere that the earlier dice units (like the one I got with 2012) came in a few versions, i.e. all blue leds, coloured leds etc which signified the quality of the board and chip used - does this apply to the versions you sell?

The total delivered price is £245 for a laptop loaded with Vida 2014d and a Dice.

I only sell the higher quality Dice with a green circuit board and multicoloured LEDs running the latest firmware.

The laptops are all excellent quality brands and the current one is a Dell Latitude E6410 running Windows 7 Professional, 4GB RAM, i5 2.4GHz dual core processor and around 180GB of free HDD space, pictured below.
Everything is tested and ready to send out.

I've got my vida dice running, there were no problems installing it. all went well until I plugged it in to my car. I found that it wasn't communicating back to the laptop. This glitch was cured with the mod to the registry entry. I now have a brilliant tool for working on my (and others if need be) car.
Simon, this is a great piece of kit. Thanks for getting it out to us Volvo owners.

Laptop and DICE arrived yesterday and was in use within minutes!

A great service, and would recommend if you are looking for either a DICE, Laptop or both to run VIDA 2014

Laptop is a decent spec and the DICE unit is one of the better ones available out there.
