RE: Volvo 75 @ Gaydon
Absolutely.
Good day was had by all I think. Next time though perhaps there should be a 'little' more for the non-enthusiasts, who were dragged along, ;-) to do. Dan. |

And, perhaps, a tie-in with our friends in the Volvo Enthusiasts Club, who seemed to have the matter of entry passes for their members sorted just a wee bit better than we managed.
All the best, Peter. |

RE: Volvo 75 @ Gaydon
a good day all round, with the face painting and clown for the kids.
spoke to a guy with a nice S40 just as i left, are you on here ???? only moan was the pompous official whose way of asking me politely to move away from the C70 conv. was "get away from the car you silly man" well the cones are there for a reason and i did go inside playing around with my son, but its amazing that the Gaydon staff can ask you to not touch their priceless exhibits and still maintain an air of respect. suppose this is why volvo drivers get such a bad reputation, one bad apple spoiling the whole bunch !!!! see you all next time scott |

RE: Volvo 75 @ Gaydon
Neither the VEC nor the VOC had anything to do with the arrangements. This was all done by Gaydon and VCUK. Both clubs were asked to provide an equal number of cars for the display area, even though many of the cars on the VEC area were also VOC members. It matters not. As far as I am aware all the VOC cars that were on the display area had their passes issued to them. It was a great turn out and next year is apparantly in the planning. Thanks to all of you for turning out for what turned out to be the biggest Marque day Gaydon has seen.
