1996 Volvo 855 T5 CD Auto
419 Silver Sand Metallic with grey leather interior
222,000 miles (this will change as used daily)
MOT expires 04/04/2012 - Tax expires end of 04/2011

This car has served me well for 2 years now. She's CD spec so comes fully loaded with full grey leather interior - front heated, electric memory drivers seat, autobox with economy, sport & winter modes, Volvo 'premium' sound system, dual zone climate control, integrated rear child seat as well as the standard T5 stuff.

The car is in good condition and has never let me down in the 2 years I have owned it. The engine still pulls well, autobox is nice & smooth and has a decent turn of pace for it's size. I've just had the car MOT'd and the only advisories were for exhaust & a windscreen chip. The car has full service history up to 195k, I have owned the car since approx 210k and have maintained the car myself in that time, as well as the indicated services I have replaced various parts to freshen her up including full PCV system, distributor cap, rotor arm, HT leads & plugs, discs & pads all round, front rubber top mounts - all with genuine or OEM parts. I also fitted Bilstein B4 dampers & FK -40mm springs.

The car has a few marks around the body including some minor dents/marks, a rust bubble on passengers door, rust at bottom of drivers rear arch - but overall the car is still very presentable as can be seen in the photos. The interior is in good condition, all electrics work OK, there is some wear on drivers bolster, a few of the centre console lamps are blown and although the air con blows cold, it's not ice cold. The tailgate struts have gone a little soft so could do with replacing, there is also a broken piece of trim in the load area.

I'll be sorry to see her go, but I've decided to buy an 850R so unfortunately the T5 has to go.

Is that all you feel a tidy, well kept T5 with 12 months mot is worth?

With all due respect Hallsy, this is a fifteen year old gas-guzzler in most peoples eyes, and in that section of the market is probably worth about five hundred nicker.

as i often say on here, I got mine for £450, with 12 months MOT. I think £500 is about the value these days as no one wants to put £80 of fuel into a car for 250 miles return

they are quickly becoming weekend 'blast' cars

What I find odd looking at yours, is how a CD spec does not come with front fogs, roof rails and elec front seats.
