Default Coil pack & ignition lead

HI

Looking for coil packs and ignition lead for a V40 2.0 t. Anyone have one or can you advise on the best place to go.

its only 4 T30 (iirc) to remove cover - I guess you have done that, to check coil wiring etc (oil cap seal often leaks, and can cause problems)

also not seen on the S/V40 series, but on the T5's the sleeving on the coil pack wiring, used to disintergrate, and cause problems with wiring.

Not removed anything - will leave to my mechanic. He very good and knew by my description of what happened exactly what the problem was.

Me, just a woman who has absolutely no idea of the mechanics of a car - sorry. One day I may find the time to learn but too busy working and running around after everyone else.

Now to re-schedule work (gardening) as car out of action for a couple of days - will have to get the old trolley out!

coil pack failures aren't mega common, but is a 2 min job, I got my 9 Yr old son to strip them off my car, just by telling him where they were.

If it was my wifes car, I would expect her to change them herself, and she scores about 0.3 spanners on the haynes scale

Just buy them form FRF, they are cheaper than ebay and are the real thing, i did the whole lot on my car and it runs lovely now
