Default Front Fogs

So I think I have an issue.
In my 2019 Volvo XC60 Inscription, I dont have the light pack so I don't have the adaptive headlights.
Having said this, I tried to turn on the front fog lights and nothing happened.
I don't get a notification on the dashboard, i see no difference in the headlights. Tried all the combinations (auto, medium etc) and nothing will turn on the front fogs. The back fogs work fine but when i press the button to turn on the front ones, nothing happens.
My dealer says its probably normal because I have LED headlights etc etc. but I'm not buying. Can anyone advise?

Do you actually have front fogs?

I wish I had independent fog lights for sure, and proper turning lights when turning in to a turning like 90º Junction.

Meh, you're not missing much when it comes to cornering lights.. I only find them useful when reversing in pitch dark (both sides light up, making it possible to use side/360 cams..) and for warning cyclists/pedestrians cutting in (lights them up, showing that I'm about to turn..) Weird Volvo couldn't relocate the fogs on T8s or use smaller units (like the small round ones on the new S/V60..)

That's my issue. I press on that button from the manual and nothing happens.

Just thought i would try mine, as usually on a car you will have to have dipped beam headlights on for the front fogs to work.

Light switch position 0, just DLR,s on --no fog
Light switch dipped headlight position -fog lights work
Light switch auto i.e DLR,s on and rear lights on when pressing switch fogs come on and also switch dipped headlights on as well.
Hope this helps.

I do not get this. You claim to have those fog lights on your car (not ONLY the button but lights as well, as posted by Haldex), they do not work and you dealer says it is OK? This somehow does not adds up...

Just noticed your location is Gland, is that Switzerland. It might be something market specific.
