Any body any idea why Volvo dropped the power from 320 to 303 hp on the V90 T8. Seems a big drop in power ! Ta Chough |

So that the car could be retested under the WLTP regime.

GPF/OPF perhaps? Some other manufacturers have reduced their claimed BHP also due to exhaust filters.
Do these perform a regen and potentially **** up the engine oil like a diesel?

I believe the power drop is related to GPF. Due to much higher exhaust temparatures in bensin/gasoline engines regen should not be required. I had mine for 8000km and haven't noticed any regen yet.

I have a S90 T8 2020 model year and its plenty quick enough, agreed that 400 BHP sounds really cool but 380 still does the trick.
