I've got the same issue after doing a wheel bearing. We damaged the sensor so changed it for a new one. Now I've got the abs and anti skid alarms up and the speedo isn't reading right. How does one sort out the issue? Calibration? How do you calibrate it?

Update:
The message tried to reset itself twice but upon driving the ABS pump was going crazy and eventually was disabled by something and left the warning message up again. Had the tracking adjusted straight, cleared numerous fault codes on the ABS/Traction and all is perfect again...Phew! The 'fault' was the steering angle sensor showing steering input when I was actually going straight.

Dear Welton,
Glad for you that your car's problem was solved. I had the same message several years ago but it was a fault with the electronic control module. Did you reset the error codes? If so which software do you use, if I may ask? I bought a software package from e-bay, but it doesn't work fully so although it brings up a lot of details it does not display any of the error messages. |

Hi, the tyre place actually had their own bluetooth-style diagnostic system, they plugged it into the OBD port and said a lot of codes were present for ABS etc but just cleared them all (about 25 codes) and all's been fine since.
In your case you would really need the VIDA - DICE equipment and a lap top, as far as I know our Volvo's are not that easy to interrogate with 'standard' code readers and the like. There's a seller on here (cheshired5) who sells a dedicated kit including lap top for around £250 I believe. Something I've considered buying but have not really had the need for yet...
