Default Let's talk brake boosters...

So the guys at IPD told me ATE are no longer manufacturing brake boosters for 850's, so I'm hunting down recycled / reman parts on eBay for an (ex-Japan) Right Hand Drive 1996 855R ...

–*Is there any internal difference between units explicitly labelled 'TRACS' vs. units labelled 'ABS'? Exterior photos all look identical, but internally are they the same? Mine is labelled TRACS, the bulk of the units for sale on eBay are labelled ABS.

–*Is there any difference between LHD and RHD boosters? They are explicitly labelled as such, and possibly for a reason... Google 850R engine bay photos and there seems to be zero difference in appearance, but the explicit labelling gives me cause for hesitation that there might be some difference.

–*The master cylinder studs & check valve location on my RHD brake booster *seems* to be different to all the LHD units on eBay: On LHD units the MC studs and CV port make a horizontal straight line. On my RHD unit the studs are horizontal but the check valve is about inch or so *below* the plane created by the studs. My unit is a Volvo stickered, ATE made booster, w/ TRACS; so assume it's an original part.

Happy to upload photos if it's helps. Thanks in advance.
