Losing some of the settings is a complete arse. Do they really expect us to sit and re-adjust everything after each service. I've also lost the seat warming facility during the pre-warm function, now I know this isn't a life threatening problem but it was available when I bought the car and is now disabled and it leaves a bad user experience.

Has it gone never to return or is it easily reset to work as originally?

Audi dealers seem to be taught to gouge customers by uplifting invoices at every service opportunity. That was my experience during six years of ownership of a Q7 and with two different but equally crooked dealers.

Gone. I've ticked the boxes but they don't heat up. I remember someone else on here saying the same.

I just checked and I don't have this issue.

My dealer saves the personal setting so car is set up the same as when I take it in, but you can save your drivers profile onto a USB stick and just plug it in the USB slot to reset all your settings, I have a small 1gb USB stick (a free give away) with my profile saved on it, just in case. I dare say that an even smaller USB memory will do.

Exporting and importing of profile option is no longer available. Do you still have that option available?

I have not checked as my profile was saved on my last two visits to my dealer for normal service and other work and sensus upgrade. I will check next time I use my XC90. But I have not had the latest sensus update with the check list yet so may still have it.

EDIT: I have just checked and as you say it no longer came up when usb inserted in to the slot. You can still link a driver profile to a key though.

There has been previous mention of this on a different thread.

Just had my car (XC90 T8 18my) updated and can confirm that if preconditioning is triggered by the scheduled timers the seat heat \ steering heat options come on (if checked) but manual trigger via VOC app doesn't bring them on even if checked. As mentioned this is a change from the pre Nov 17 release.

Ideally I'd like to see the options for seat heat \steering heat settable per schedule item as well as options when manually triggering from VOC.
