XC60 - 3 years on
My time with my XC60 is nearly up. I've had it for close to three years and 84,000 miles. It's gone into retirement for a couple of weeks while I get a couple of things sorted before it heads back to the lease company.
In the time that I have had it is has needed: 2 sets of front tyres. 1 set of rear pads. 3 services 1 replacement gear selector (to stop it rattling - only a partial success). and that is about it. It still has the original rear tyres - I think they are legal, but will be double checking - I have a little doubt as one of them is 'stepped' - so the outer edge is more worn than the inner.. Plenty of tread on the inside - just enough on the outside. It's heading off to the dealer for a few days while I am away - the emissions light has been coming on and off for the last couple of weeks. The car has been off road a few times. Even though it's only 2 wheel drive, it gets about in the mud fairly well. Quiet comfortable and refined, it has been a pleasure. Oh and the sat nav is rubbish. My only dislikes are the nav, and the parking sensors which are too slow to respond. I've picked up one wound due to this - My second wound was picked up avoiding a farm gate that would not stay properly open - the overgrown grass that I was brushing along was hiding a concrete fire hydrant marker. The cars replacement has arrived.... so it's time to say bye to Volvo.... van1 by LRPlans, on Flickr |

Thats quite a departure from your Volvo, any chance of an interior/ dash picture? It looks very smart, love the wheels.

your XC60 certainly worked for it's money !!
mine is about the same age but 13,700 miles and had an easy life compared to yours. your new van looks fantastic, and am sure you'll enjoy. Iain

Very smart, I hope that you enjoy it, and it offers enough comfort for your high mileage occupation.
