Unhappy ABS & STC Fault

getting a message ABS FAIL STOP CAR ASAP and dash lights up like blackpool,
also message STC fault

on vida getting
ABS-0092 Control module communication
ABS-0093 Control module communication
ABS-0095 Control module communication
CEM-1A5F Communication with ABS control module signal missing
ECM-A02B Communication, control module for ABS faulty signal

these will reset and will stay off for a while then randomly come back,
sometime everything sometimes only the STC fault message.

any idea's where to start looking?
many thanks in advance

Using VIDA establish, or fail to establish comms with the modules. If it cannot talk to the ABS module in any way, then you have either a catastrophic failure of the wiring (rare) or a power failure of the ABS module. The latter is my guess, but it’s only a guess.
I had a similar problem, and I cut the module open with a dremmal and then touched up all the solder joints with an iron.

That worked for two years and then I had to change the brushes in the pump motor; two different ways of doing the same thing which was getting an increased potential difference across the pump windings.

I have read somethings along those lines,
ordered a E5 socket and will give that a go, nothing to loose, also it being quite random it does sound like a poor joint

little update on this.
got the E5 socket today,
removed and cut open the ABS control unit,
and yes found quite a few cracked soldered joints.
clean and re-soldered those joints and sealed with hot glue.
refitted unit, cleared all DTC's with Vida.
not taken for a test drive yet, will be doing later
hopefully being able to report back all clear

just a note of interest

there are quite a few videos on Utube about this issue,
all of them seem to fail in curing the fault.
yet mine worked, so don't believe everything you see
