My new toy
Hi folks..over the last weekend i picked up a gorgeuos red 440 1.8s on a M plate
112k...full Volvo service history..1lady owner from new.. brought it home from Malvern via the M5..was very impressed with its ride quality..was so smooth at **mph..i didnt want to attempt any further speed tests as i was still infamiliar with car..engine bay was a little dirty but soon sorted that out with Gunk(despite it being freezing outside)...took peep inside its oil filler cap ...was amazed at how clean the it was inside ..no signs of sludge which i saw in my old Golf Tdi and Astra....the battery i feel needs abit of attention i think its the original Volvo battery.. On the outside one 4inch dent caused by shopping trolley on passenger side wing and a bit of paint flaking off one the windscreen pillars otherwise perfect bodywork..was very surprised when i raised the car too look at the underbody..i knew the car had a brand new exhaust still under warranty but i didnt know it was original Volvo..fronts tyres got 6mm tread and rear got 4mm..overall a bargain for £430... .. The only thing i found to be negative is the cars fuel gauge which doesnt seem to be working..any ideas to what could be wrong?

When mine wasnt working, a replacement gauge from the scrappy did the job

just 1 patch of rust on passenger side wheel arch about 4 inches ...nothing to worry about as its just surface rust ..will sort that as soon as weather warms up..maybe underseal the car in summer too..

Hi,
Its red....!!! Looks like you 'll need to polish this a fair bit to get your nice red shade correct... Nice looking though... Des. . .

Mo,
Cool! Great deal. Not bad for $800. Good luck with it!
