Just got the ABS light after a 40 min drive and here are the codes I got:

A3= 141 & 142
(141= Pedal signal faulty - shorted to ground)
(142= Stop lamp switch faulty)

A6=314
(314= Camshaft Position sensor signal missing or faulty)

Any clues anyone?

Thanks

do your brake lights work properly when you are getting the codes?

If so then I would guess at the ignition barrel or ABS unit. If not then change the brake light switch.

My housemates polo showed engine fault and went to limp home mode because the brake lighs were stuck on!!

Maybe an e-mail to the webmaster (at the bottom of the web page)

The site has move host so some links may want fixing.

The unit that needs fixing is on the brake servo.

No reply from the email I sent...

Is there a possibility I could get something from eBay to fix my problem?
