Default No Steering wheel functions NOT clock-spring

Hello,
after I had work done on the Power Steering lines (and new rack and pinion), I don't have any function on the buttons of the steering wheel: no Radio, no cruise control, no horn and the Airbag light is on. Everything points to the clock - spring. But after replacing with a new OEM clock spring nothing changed.
I have a 2003 XC70.
Anyone an idea what else could be the cause?
Thanks :-)

Steering rack is quite a job involving subframe partial drop

Have you looked at the fuse ? There may be one for those buttons

The fact the SRS light is on, indicates the garage did work without disconnecting the car battery and disconnected some electronic module (not necessarily related to the airbags)

Was the head unit also replaced by any chance ?

I'd also look again for all those connectors from the clock spring under the cover behind the steering (near the stalks).

Check connectors are seated properly, looking everywhere around the steering column, as that is where the work was done.

Look for possible cable damage around the steering column

Check fuses for steering wheel.

I checked all fuses (I don't think there is one specific one for the steering wheel).
Cables what I can see from under the steering wheel look good.
Tonight I will again disassemble the steering wheel and clock spring and see if I can see anything from there.

On the weekend I got an OBDII scanner and cleared the SRS light.
After driving for 2 days the Airbag light stayed off, but still all other steering wheel functions are not working: no horn, no audio controls and no Cruise control.
Any ideas?

When I clear the SRS light and it stays off, it means the airbag is working, right?
