EDIT - It's called a "Grocery Bag Holder" and I can't find one either.

I do have one though, and never use it because I always seem to have stuff on top of it when I go shopping...

Cheers

Not that part, Dave. It’s the part that goes over the battery (not the metal or plastic) battery cover.

Sorry, I can't help with a part number for that version.
Spot on. It’s this part I’m after.

Ok, I'm confused as your first photo shows the felt type and the one you've just posted shows the second. On the latter, the lift-up flap with the grocery holder is all one part with the horizontal section which goes over the battery.

That's the version I have. The original part no is 30673202

If however you want the cardboard / felt version from your original post, then original part numbers include:

8684980
8684977
8684946

That part is indicated as components 25 and 41 (see bottom left hand corner) of the attached Volvo parts page.

I’m confused myself! I’m guessing as to what is supposed to be in there, as I’ve never seen another XC90 to compare it with. Ok, thank you for the numbers etc I appreciate that. Right now I’m having nightmares trying to get the locking nuts off to replace a CV joint

Hi, you are correct. This tray is part of the base unit you describe. It is, in fact, bolted to the underside with a hinge.

It does appear the simplest option is just purchase as described above, which is the boot floor rear section which will include the tray presumably. But check with supplier.

It could be that yours has been unbolted and lost, but as other members have stated, best just to order the whole thing from a breaker

Sorry for any confusion on my part and my car is my03.

Thanks, John. No I know a bit more about the parts and what I’m looking for I can get on it.

Cheers guys.
