Any info on how that trim is removed? Some pics perhaps, like a guide, or a video?

I tried with some 2000 last weekend. Didn't come up as bright as expected and a lot of effort for small results.

If you have a better experience pls share. Thx

No, not tried it myself, was just an idea. Mine are still in decent condition, probably because the car has never been more than 2 weeks without a proper clean so the opportunities for the chemicals in the dirt to react with UV and cause damage has been removed.

Effort wouldn't put me off, it's not like I'm going to work or have anything pressing to do right now.

Mine are 6 years old and quite tarnished. Car is cleaned weekly but sunlight etc probably much harsher here.

Not the same car but kinda shows the potential hassle in removal and fitting.

After trawling through this forum and reading multiple threads on this issue dating back to 2016 I’ve come to the conclusion that there isn’t one, lol. A lot of people are saying it’s an aluminium trim with a clear coating on it so metal polishes (some say WD40) are a waste of time. They’ll probably make it look shiny because it’s just basically cleaning the clear lacquer. Hmmm..
