Default Closure

Morning all.

Don't know what it's called but all my old fords had global closure where you hold the open/close button on key fob and the windows would open or close remotely.

I thought when I fist got my 2010 r design it had it and I used it but now think I was mistaken as doesn't work.

Does it have this feature or am I losing the plot with lockdown?

Nope, the mk1 and 1.5 do not have this function in the door unit or CEM, Shame as I like that option.

The only way is to use the volvo ODB emulator which is a device you plug in to your obd and you leave it plugged in to which you can program some commands etc but I am not really in favour of this option as feels like a cheat etc..

Only if you use a CFE or CFE+

I have both, so the CFE is now surplus to requirements... just plugs into the OBDII socket. I used in on my MY2009 R-Design.

Complete with the optional hard-wire cable, if you want to hard wire it in somewhere.

For sale for a fair price. I'm in Cross-Country (Switzerland) but postage in a bubble bag will work.
