Default 2004.5 v50 hydraulic valve lifter replacement manual

Hello everyone!

When I bought this car 9 moths ago my mechanic said that I should change the hydraulic valve lifters (tappets?), because they look worn out. For a while now there has been that ticking, tapping, clicking noise. It's not loud yet, so it's not a urgent fix to be done, but, god, it's driving me crazy.
So are there any DIY instructions on the internet that cover this?

Thanks!

I've heard about both, but many say that haynes manual is not very good.. So I am not 100% sure that I want to use it, but maybe it's OK. What do you think?
Also I have vida 2012D, but can't find any instructions for lifter replacement, torq specs for this fix. And I have searched entire VIDA like 5 times. Idk, maybe I searched in the wrong place..

Ive replaced the lifters myself without a manual , in fact haynes had a handy datasheet for torqueing the bolts

Its basicly very intuitive : disconnecting the fuellines , remove injectors , remove the valvecover , remove the vacuumpump ,remove the camshafts, remove lifters and all in reverse.
In vida and haynes are sub chapters on specific tasks like placing and timing the cambelt etc

Nope, it's D4204T.
Alright, checked VIDA again, and I think I found how to get to the lifters.
At first I was confused how is valve lash adjustment made, but then I realized that valve lash is adjusted automatically by hydraulic lifters, right? And after that everything (rockers, tappets) is bolted down with camshaft caps..

btw, is it safe to perform a injector return flow test for piezoelectric injectors?

yes valves are adjusted automaticly by oilpressure in the tappets
Returnflow measurement is save because it has no (significant) pressure
Piezoelectric injectors work the same as solenoid mechanicly ,only the timing is more refined with piezos
