Default A Good Recovery Company:~

https://www.autoaidbreakdown.co.uk/

This breakdown recovery company may be useful for UK members: ~
If you have more than one car and want a nationwide recovery service plus additional support then it may be worth considering.
Briefly you & your best wife will be covered for ALL cars that you own or sit in.
They cover cars regardless of age- they are not vehicle specific.
I joined some years back as another company I used would not continue breakdown cover for a 1990s car unless I went for the gold standard recovery- you can guess what I told them!
We now have 3 classic cars covered with a total age of 115 years between them (yes that’s correct) plus a relatively modern one- originally set up as a pay and claim back system but even then the couple of services we required had been billed direct.
This is now the normal procedure and as most companies they use a national network of nominated garages (two breakdowns over the years with excellent service response)
I didn’t want the home call out but you can have this if you wish- the recovery had been the priority for me.
So one very competitive premium- All cars you own- all cars you may be travelling in plus the other benefits.
Hope it may be of use to others.
Regards Bob

Was looking at this company myself as my RAC is running out.

I need personal cover to cover me on 2 cars, my misses is off the road for the foreseeable but may be driving again in the next year so the free spouse cover is also a bonus.

Another good company offering basically identical benefits as the above is GEM Motoring Assist www.motoringassist.com I joined nearly 30 years ago as they were the only company that would cover the Silver Cloud and whilst my cars have let me down on a few occasions in that time, GEM never have.
