Default taking XC90 plunge

Hi all XC90 owners

So I have decided that XC90 is for me. Now massively confused with these choices:

1) T5 vs D5: I will do around 7k miles and motorway driving will only be on weekends ( 50 miles max)

2) HUD or heated windscreen: I like HUD but not sure if i would enjoy it that much considering i am tall and XC90 display has issues for tall people

Any personal experiences/sugestions would be very helpful, thanks

I am buying PCP 4YR

Thanks

7000 miles a week, and then 50 miles on the weekends?

A few weeks ago i went to a Volvo main dealer and saw an XC90 for sale and PCP explanation cropped up in the conversation. Now i have never really considered PCP, as to me it is a bit like renting a house, money down the drain as you have nothing left to show for it at the end of the term.

But he genuinely stated that he believed PCP plans will be a thing of the past in the next 5 years as people have got wise to them and will no longer be available.

My missus does that sort of mileage and she drives a Lexus RX450h, which is petrol hybrid. Majority of her trips are nipping in to town to get odd bits and the weekly business trip to London (130 mile roundtrip). She would kill diesel doing so many short trips - DPF and all that.

Perhaps I'm getting old, but I thought it used be 20,000 per annum was the divider between petrol and diesel.

Just my 2p.
