Cool 10disc Autochanger

I have just got a volvo 10 disc autochanger off ebay to fit in my s40 (04 CLASSIC).
In the boot already is the round 8 pin connector but it seems i need a blue rectangular connector also. Anyone got any ideas where this might be hidden or how i can fit a new connector and what is the missing connector used for?

Ask your dealer for that piece of cable for power supply. On other end it goes into grey 4-pole connector, located by left taillight. This 4-pole connector is actually power supply (permanent and switched +12V) for 13-pole trailer socket.

Default Help !!!!!!!

I have tried some of the companies from some of the other threads on here and one company in Netherlands can make a cable but it is gonna cost about £50. Does anyone out there have a suggestion that might be cheaper?

Is it the fact that you can no longer get that cable on it's own? you may be able to get it in a kit... i got one as part of a cd changer mounting kit for cheap on ebay... only used the cable but it was cheap so didn't matter...

you could also try a breaker...

i would have throught an 04 car would come with it prewired though? have you had a good dig around in the boot? it's been a while since i did mine so forgotten the details!

Clan gave me the part number and my local dealer got the part.
