You might get a bit more interest if you state a price you are looking to get for it. Also you might include some details as to why you think that it only has 10,000 miles on it. The odometers roll over at 100,000 so most cars of this era would have 110,000 miles or 210,000 miles or...

I own chassis number 5519 which has about 38K miles . Bought from a friend who had owned the car for about 10 years and had history. Presumably, your car is not original colour, mine is Grey, and has had major renovation judging by the interior. Looks great though.

agent_strangelove: I believe my car has only 10k on the clock, because she never gets driven. It's only taken around the block once a year to warm it up, then it is stored again. (My father drove the car twice.)

Chrismunro: are you saying that they only made a batch of one colour, then moving on to another colour? Do you know if there is a way to find out what the original colour was?

This car did have a fire inside back in 1973, after which it was completely rebuilt. (wiring, dials, leather, everything!)
She was sprayed maroon at that time, then 2 years ago she was redone in the colour you see her in today. (Which according to my knowledge is the original colour)
I was only born in 1981, so if she was gray before 1973, I unfortunately don't know at this time. (But I'll try to find out)

Hi Jaaki, Have a look at the Chassis Number plate under the bonnet - probably drivers side and it will give you the colour code. Let us know what that code is and someone here will tell you what that colour should be.
An awful waste of a lovely car getting round the block once a year!
Irv Gordon's P1800 is now at 2.75 million miles.

Hi Dibble

The black and silver plate on the drivers side was removed when it was re-sprayed many years ago, so all that's left are the numbers that were stamped into the chassis right above where the plate used to be. Those numbers are really hard to make out, the lower line is definitely 5520.
So maybe I'll have to scrape off the paint on that section, and I'll go through the papers to see if there is anything.

The inside of the door pillars are white, unlikely that they would have been painted white when the rest of the car was re-sprayed red, so that is the most likely original colour.

The white on the inside of the B-pillar is leather.

The A pillar as well?
I think what Mike was raising is that these parts are normally painted and unusual to have leather especially white against a black interior. However it may have had a compleley White interior. Especially in the hot weather there.
Car looks nice though
Did you have a price in mind?
