Buying used XC90, advice and guidance accepted. - Page 2

as Nemo we've had our 53 plate XC90 D5 SE auto for just over 2 years and it's been a cracker.

Nothing notable apart from a rear wheel bearing. Sailed through Mot's no problems and I've just had the cambelt and all tensioners replaced etc.

We're just getting to 100k and I couldn't recommend this car more highly.

Pick a good clean car regardless of mileage and you won't go wrong.

I'm afraid to say, we've decided not to get an XC90. The brand was right for us, and the car is lovely inside, but there are just too many question marks over reliability. The two I've looked at both were FWD and Volvo don't seem to be looking kindly on owners who've recently acquired the vehicle and then found problems.
I know it's not quite as posh, but we're looking at Pathfinders at the moment, you do seem to get more for your money.

I'm back!

The Pathfinder did well, but it's showing it's age and has to be replaced, so we're off to look at a bunch of XC90's tomorrow! Wish me luck.

To be honest, I'm bored of grey cars, and although this is technically grey, it looks blue both in pics and in the flesh.
