Smile 480 turbo - dashboard rattle!

Hi,
after much nagging from my lovely wife regarding a rattle, I took her 480 down to the NEC for the classic car show, it soon became apparent just how bad the rattle was.

I have not had a chance to further investigate, however, it seems to be coming from the front vents near the windsreen.
The rattle increases with speed, mostly above 65mph and is horrendous at 80mph +.

Before I start dismantling the whole dash has anyone any info or suffered the same problem to save me some time.
Any info / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Mark.

I used to have a '93 460 and there were so many rattles in it that it was barely bearable on long journeys. The dash was also split in a few places. The build qualities on these cars is shocking! I gave up trying to cure rattles and just left them be.
