Zilch.... will not login. Have tried 6 times now.
Looks like a trip to the dealers 😫😫
After days and days of getting the 'installation failed, eeeoe report sent' (I had deleted then tried afreah inatall repeatedly) tonight i was able to install.... (download and install took less than 5 mins)

Login required entering a displayed code on my phone to pair...

Spinning wheel of death for around 5 mins...

But then it all worked!!!!

Finally!!!!!

Good luck all....

Okay, now it’s my turn.
Resisted the update, but I was finally overruled by the car and it wouldn’t let me use the app unless I updated.
It downloaded and installed fine it seems, but now it’s buggered.
I’ve got the spinning blue wheel, the library icon is blanked out and I can only play the album that was playing before the update. (Which is The Greatest Showman, so obviously that’s not good.)
It won’t let me uninstall so I’m stumped - is this really a trip to the dealers?

Yikes!!!

That doesn't sound good.....

Hopefully yours will clear over the next few days?

I noted mine was getting error reports when others were able to install....

Good luck!!

And that precisely mirrors the situation I am now in - other than the last album I played was by This Mortal Coil! Like you I think a dealer visit beckons sadly

I had the update queued up with a map update. After reading about issues I managed to cancel it, but the main screen kept showing update available. Today I checked the size and it was showing around 5mb, rather than 0mb, so went ahead. Thankfully it seems to have worked.

The car is booked in for next week.
The service guy I spoke to didn’t flinch when I said it was Spotify playing up and he reckons it’s a software issue. (Well, durr.)
Don’t know if this means they’ve seen it before, but fingers crossed it’ll be sorted soon.

Mine is FUBAR'ed too now. Countless uninstall and re-installs and I am watching the spinning circle of doom. Booked in for next Wednesday.

I can see it now when I pick it up..."Yes sir, it's all fixed", me:"I still can't sign in. No it isn't".

Rolls eyes.

I thought it had gone ok but it isn't running smoothly. It does the spinning circle for while on starting and when moving tracks gets stuck on buffering. Oddly if I click next it works fine.

Mine installed o.k., no issues here. But..... I can’t see any difference from the previous version. Has anyone found anything?

i reckon they've cancelled the update to fix the bugs and just rolled out the previous version again.
it was supposed to be a big update with new functionality according to the text - whereas as you say there is no changes on this version
