Default Diesel Particle Filter replacement schedule?

Howday,

I have a 2007 S40 D5. I have in my head somewhere (maybe sales guy mentioned it to me when buying?) that the DPF doesn't ever require scheduled replacement on this engine (in this car).

Anybody know if I am dreaming this up?

The particulate trap does not need changing on the Volvo D5 engine , only the Ford/Citroen 2.0 D engine at 72000 miles ...
