Default C70 Door striker adjustment

Does anybody know if I can adjust the door striker or get over this passenger door just "popping" open slightly just enough to give me the door open warning. It's a 2008 C70 hard top convertible.
I am also looking for 2 headlight units for the same car at a "reasonable" price please.

From my experience with the door popping open it has been down to the locking mechanism not working correctly.

They appear to get corroded easily and not latch correctly. After much lubrication mine has been OK for a few years, but some owners have had to replace the mechanism.

Take a look at this thread for some research: -

Hi choosy54
In the past I've found Volvo/Saab breakers in Nottingham helpful. They will deliver at, what I thought was a reasonable price. You ca easily find them on Google.

That is the catch sticking as said above , due to neglect .. spray some proper lubricant upwards into the catch and work it as much as you can then do the same again to flush the rusty fluid out ... do this every 6 months ....

Thanks guys, after almost a litre of brake cleaner to wash out all of the old crud then lubricated with good quality oil in a air spray can it works well now and no more nagging from 'er indoors. ;-)
