Default V50 poor starting wen cold

Hi guys....

Got a odd problem with my 2005MY 2L diesel V50... I brought it about this this last year... when I start it from cold, it starts on the button, runs ok 4 a few seconds, then stalls.... does this 2 or 3 times, then won't start at all, i leave it 4 about 2 or 3 minutes, then it starts up but won't rev... I keep my foot 2 the floor, then after about a minute or so it revs up... it's fine then....
When the weather warmed up then... it starts fine.... has been fine all year.... now with the temp dropping, its playing up again.....
I 1st thoug was it a air temp fault, so tried lightly warming in the air box with a hair dryer.... I also checked the glow plugs... all seems ok and no difference made.....
Has anyone come across this.... I'm prob hissing off the neighbor's with me reving it in the morning's, there just 2 polite say....

Cheers guys...

if its starting ok from cold its not your glow plugs or relay issues. I would put it down to fuel issues. have you change fuel filter by any chance?

My 2004 car registered a minor glow plug fault while testing for a another problem. Could be a glow plug problem.
