  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default On call button

I’m trying to connect my wife’s car (xc60 t8 My18) to my phone (she hasn’t done this yet).

I’ve got the app and activated it.

I need a PIN

I press the on call button on the ceiling console, but nothing happens (in settings the button is not disabled, and the service shows as active)

Where am I going wrong?

The instructions say press the on call button, this has no effect.

The car is leased and was supplied by the leasing company.

Many of the leasing companies do not permit the use of apps like VOC because its too had to confirm if youve relinquished control at the end of the lease.

Call the supplying dealer, act daft, they take email and phone numbers and that gets the ball rolling. Worked for me, and I’m with Lex, who don't permit it!

No PIN = No VOC.

I don't think so!

If the PIN code has been forgotten or needs to be changed (e.g. when buying a used car with Volvo On Call), contact

a dealer or

Volvo On Call service centre via the ON CALL button, the Volvo On Call app or a normal phone call.

The new code is sent to the car owner.

I guess it has to be registered in the first place for VOC to actually work at all?

I second phoning your/a dealer and doing the "I forgot my pin" routine.

Nice font sizing!! I just wish I knew what point it is that you are trying to put across?
All I said was No Pin = No VOC. You then disagree with me but say at the end that you still need to acquire a PIN before VOC will work
Also, if VOC was never set up, does the On Call button actually call through to anyone to allow you to request a new PIN? (i.e. My first point of it wont matter how long you press the On Call button for)

[I][I]Using a Volvo On Call PIN code

The Volvo On Call
PIN code is required for the following services, for security reasons:

• Creating a link between the Volvo On Call app and your Volvo

• Remote unlocking of your car via a Volvo On Call service centre22

• When you start tracking a stolen car via a Volvo On Call service centre22

• When you create new app users for your car

• When you cancel your Volvo On Call subscription via the app, e.g. when the car changes owners





NOTE
Automatic Crash Notification, the SOS button and roadside assistance via the On Call button also work without a subscription.
