Default 2006 S60 headlamp woe!

Hi all

I'm new to Volvo ownership having purchased my S60 D5 a few weeks ago. I changed the headlamp bulbs (dipped beam) for some brighter whiter Philips bulbs (this caused much distress and cursing at Volvo engineering for lack of access on the LH side!!).

After a long struggle the new bulbs are in and working fine but it seems that my side lights (parking lights) have now stopped working. Has anyone else ever noticed this or have I been an idiot and damaged a wire somewhere?

Any advice or tips great fully received. ..thanks all!

You would probably be better posting this in the relevant S60 forum. This is the forum for the S60 from 2010 onwards, which is a completly different car to yours.

Probably sods law.
Once you start changing one bulb others follow suit.
Side lights are easier to change and cheap
