Default headlamp washers

save me stripping down to find the fault then to get parts to fix then to do strip down again .don't fancy doing job twice ..I wonder if any of you owners had same issue

if I use headlamp washers in conjunction with light position my washer bottle drains ....yes I have a leak in the system .as I have a pool of water when parked up .and its front bumper off to sort...if I don't use ,my washers last a good while and no pool of water
so I take this issue is with either a hose but more so one way valve perhaps
so any of you clued up guys had same issue ?

I have same issue but instead of fixing it, I just removed the fuse to stop the headlight washers from working. (Fuse number 9 in engine compartment I think) I think the pipe just comes off the washer nozzle and maybe some day I will get around to doing it?

I had leak on my first V50 (my06) 2.0SE. Leak was on pipes attaching to nozzle unit.

I never completely fixed it, but I suspect that the O rings were perishing. The unit is not too bad to get to but front bumper has to come off to get access.

I suspect that using the wrong fluid didn't help.

My current my10 drive V50 has never leaked and still works perfectly.

With this car, Ive only ever used Volvo washer fluid.
