1st Generation V70.

P2 refers to the fact that it's on the P2x platform (that includes the S80, S60, V70 and XC90) rather than Phase 1 or Phase 2 which is the obvious assumption when we all refer to P2 V70.

What were you after?

ETM does work, was cleaned at 172k and the car is now at 225k. Do have the paperwork to support it somewhere.

However, I could do with the car still being mobile under it's own power for as long as possible due to it's location on the driveway, so both this and the sensor that Chris are after are potentially problematic. Would basically mean that I'd have to scrap the car as soon as I've pulled those parts, and then find a home for the contents of the car (it's working very well as a 3rd shed...)

HTH and clears bits and pieces up.

Don't worry then, I have an alternative for the sensor, don't take it off the road just for that

Price (exc Delivery)
  • Centre Cap £5ea
  • Owners Manual and sleeve £5
  • Indicator Repeaters £5ea
  • Spare wheel well cover £10
  • Grill £15
  • Jack and wheel Brace £15
  • Load Liner (soft rubberised one side £15
  • Mats £25
  • Original rear Shocks, still working £30
  • Wheels £30ea
  • Roof Rails £45
  • Spoiler £50
  • Load Cover £50
  • Genuine Volvo Radiator for car with AC £75
  • Rear Lights per side £100

Wheels are 15" Antila, 1 is a bit porous, and suffers from slow leaks, but otherwise all are good. Would benefit from refurbishment if looking at using; all have some degree of corrosion on them

Centre caps are being sold separately if sold first, otherwise wheels will be supplied with caps.

Indicator repeaters
(Drivers side)

Radiator Grill

Spoiler has some scratches from roof rack straps and ropes (used to use roof racks a lot for kayaks and canoes)

Load Cover still retracts etc, not the cleanest, but would clean up

http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/k...0824-00020.jpg

Jack and wheel brace can be supplied with the polystyrene block that sits on the space saver.

Rear Shocks were taken off at 175,000 but I don't know if they are the original ones or not. Were replaced with Monroe Load Levellers, which may be available; Monroe's were repaired under warranty in 2008 after 15,000 miles, but have been trouble free since.

Rear Lights:
Passenger side

Drivers side

Radiator fitted at end of 2009, as old one was leaking. Supplied by FRF. Done about 3,000 miles with it (not sure exactly what the mileage was when it was fitted so taken a guess based on it being fitted (just) before Christmas 2009, and stopped being used in March '10)

Other parts and pictures available on request; had to dodge the rain showers!

Car (+ parts) are in Shropshire, south of Shrewsbury.

PM or post below,

Thanks

Ed
Is there any interest in any parts or anyone want the whole car?

I'm in need of:
a - the cash
b - the space
c - something 4x4 for the winter/biking and boating
so it'll be going to the scrap yard at the end of the month.

If people are interested in parts that I listed above then please let me know and make an offer; those are the parts that I feel have the most value/best condition, with the exception of the wheels, but they may do for someone to have as winter wheels for a car.

I'm reluctant to render the car immobile as I need to get it about 30m from it's resting place to the road to get rid of it, and this will be easier under it's own power, hence declining to strip some of the engine parts. Still happy to remove the radiator however, as it'll still move even without a radiator, and wheels I can work around... nothing's impossible!

Looking for a blanking cap. It's in the roof, just above the rear seats. Think it's here a dog guard would fit. Mine is missing the o/s one.

It's curved and about 2in square.

Got both; £5 for the pair, plus postage. My interior is a 3960; does that match what you have? Let me know what you're thinking, and we'll see what we can come up with.

And yes, it's for the retracting load net that comes out of the back seat back.

One side (Passenger)

Other side (Drivers)

P2 doesn't actually refer to the fact that it's the 2nd V70, instead it refers to the overall platform; P2x refers to the S60, S80, V70, XC70, XC90. Not sure what the 850/x70 was in terms of platform code.

Car is on a limited life span now...

Anyone after parts? I'm looking at getting rid of it in the next couple of weeks.

Parts that stop it moving will be removed at the last minute due to it's location.

Sensible offers will be considered for parts or the whole car (it's only missing the clips above)
