Now that's interesting. No, our cars are kept in a garage and are never locked.

There's still a massive difference between both cars (both purchased new about 6 months apart) V40 going onto its third battery replacement, XC70 about to get its first replacement.

So you're saying cars should be locked to conserve battery?

Yes, that's why VIDA or Car Scanner app are so useful - you see the parasitic drain and the state of charge of the battery, without any voltmeter.

I've got Car Scanner but it doesn't give me state of charge of battery. Is yours the paid version? Mine is the el'cheapo free version.

A balmy 11deg C this morning

I just need to get the wife to get out and drive the car more often. At 26k klms, it's barely broken in.

All sorted, can see Battery SOC now . Didn't have the cars selected properly in Car Scanner.
