1997 V70 CD changer
Hi! I wonder if anyone can help me? I have the double din CD/Radio/Cassette in my V70 and I also have an almost new Kenwood 6xCD player which I took out of my 740 Est. before I sold it. I have found a place to physically fit it (under the lift up floor of the load area) but I am having trouble finding a connecting lead. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find one of these? Thanks. On a different subject, I have read a lot in the forum of differing mpg figures. I bought my car about six weeks ago. The mpg figure was 26.6. It has slowly crept up over the weeks, and now stands at 28.9. Is this good for a 2.5 10 valve engine? Cheers, Alan Guscott

RE: 1997 V70 CD changer
As far as I know, the only changers that can interface with the Volvo head units are some (poss. all) Alpine models, since that is who makes them for Volvo. However the spec. differs slightly and a Volvo lead will not connect direct to an Alpine changer without an interface cable. There are lots of previous threads on this if you care to search a bit. Can't comment on the fuel as I have a Tdi! but it seems reasonable!!

mpg sounds right for a longer run, town driving you may find it 20-25mpg. Mixed driving gives me about 26mpg, motorways 30mpg, city 23mpg, same engine as you.
