Default Cabin Filter

I have a 1995 850 T5-R .

Am I correct in thinking the UK spec car does not have a cabin filter? I've lifted the scuttle plate cover and can see the fan and plastic outer housing but the housing looks completely different to the ones you see on you tube where people are changing the filter.

Advice please.

Earlier models did not have the filter holder factory fitted.

However retrofit Volvo OEM filter holders are available from PFS , the link is http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=5589

Alan.....have fun!

As above. My car didn't have a pollen filter when I got it, and as I have bad hayfever I got the housing from PFS or FRF Volvo Swansea (I can't remember which) along with a filter, fitting it was really easy and it works just fine.

Interesting that the filter costs more than the housing on the PFS site. I would have thought that they would have had a combo deal too.
