Apparently one of my engine mounts is wearing out. The mechanic at the garage very quietly suggested I would be best replacing them with polybushes (I think thats what he said) as they dont tend to wear out. Has anyone had experience of using these?

I assume he means one of the torque mounts.

Yes poly bushes work well (I have one on my upper torque mount) but they can lead to increased vibration being transmitted into the car.
