Default Will doors fit

I have been trying to source a green door for my Volvo V70 with little success. I can get a different colour one but would rather not have to go down the spray painting route. I have seen an 850 that is the same colour as mine.
Does anyone know if the doors are the same?
The door I need is the near side rear and my car is the mark one shape and I think it is a 2000 year. It has the blue badge grill, so must have a bit of the ford touch to it. Vol 421 paint code. Think it’s emerald green or something like that.

If I recall correctly while the overall shape of the door is the same, so it would fit in the door frame, the interior trim and the inside of the metal door is different, no idea how much fettling you need to do to make it work.

I have an 850 in 421 and could do with a new(er) o/s/r door. Do you have a link?

There was a 421 V70 being broken in Tregaron, listed on Facebook. I don't have Facebook so I can't link you, but should be easy enough to find on Marketplace.

It was a whole car that was for sale on gumtree. I was thinking about buying it and breaking, if they would have fitted.

The overall shape is the same, but the interior fittings and the exterior handle are different.

I picked up a replacement door months ago, but it was a different colour. I dropped it off at a local spray painter. Every time I go, to see if he has painted it yet, he tells me he will tackle it soon and he will ring me. I’ve had no luck finding a replacement in the same colour.

Totally agree. If the paint shop cannot raise the enthusiasm to start the job, then what is the chance of it doing a better job than you could with a couple of rattle cans?

I may have to go down that route. I have not pushed him as I have been busy with work, so I have not had any time to tinker with it anyway.

At the moment it is a hospital job and there will always be a more urgent job to do. Also, he has a job in hand waiting to be done in a quiet moment so no need to rush.

I would give him a firm date to complete and then if not done take elsewhere.
