Default Front n/s passenger sidebrake pipe replacement

Hi,

Failed MOT on front n/s brake hose. Looks like the pipe will shear when I try and remove the hose as the nut on the pipe looks like it is 'welded' with rust to the spring clip at the pipe/hose connection. Anybody any tips for dismantling this connection? There is not enough space to get my pipe flaring tool in that area to make a short length of pipe with connection and the existing pipe doesn't have a long enough straight portion to fit in my flaring tool. So looking at probably getting a new pipe from ABS unit down to the hose. At the ABS end this pipe connection is under the fuse box right next to the ABS unit main electrical connector and looks like it will need some sort of 'open socket' due to how close the electrical connector is. Can I move the fuse box to the side? Can anyone tell me where fixings for fuse box are etc. I guess I can remove the electrical connector so long as I take the normal battery disconnection precautions. Moving the fuse box and electrical connector will allow me to get a brake spanner on the pipe nut.
Anybody know how much the pipe is? (lots of bends in a tight space so I wouldn't want to bend the pipe myself)
Anybody know how much and indie would charge to change the hose and pipe? I'll call them tomorrow.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Tony

I presume you are asking for the nut which is attached to the rubber hose ane metal pipe. I think it won't rotate, It just slides in and kept in the metal bit so it won't rotate.
I had this issue in rear brake hose replacement , tried to loosen it bit actually it just push and turn.

Fuse box has two screws one inside the box , other one bottom near the air box.

Pipes buy it from dealer. Hose can be bought from eurocarparts. 10 pounds ,I guess.

Disconnect the battery, If not surehow yo do it leave it to
Professional.

All the best.

Thanks Sreviz.
Well no garages open so couldn't get new brake pipe. Connention between hose and pipe was impossible to loosen as Male fitting on pipe was so corroded so just sawed through pipe next to fitting and made up a new pipe. Pipe had about 10 bends in 70 cm so took a bit of time. Managed to get access to male fitting at abs module from below by removing air filter box and rubber hose then pushing metal inlet pipe to side. No need to remove fuse box. One thing to be aware of is that on brake pipe the lower male fitting is M10 and 11mm across flats but top male fitting at abs module is M12 13mm across flats. I never had the M12 fitting so just took the one off the old pipe. Car now has an MOT.
