Default XC60: Known fixes and repairs

I have quick question:

we read about all the various faults and the known fixes that solve them (ie - leaking window scraper for freezing locks, wing mirror noise over 85mph, etc...)

my car is being built next week - should I asume that the factory will use the 'fixed' parts to build the car with, or will they just continue to build in the same way, and then mend any problems as they arise?

Default perfect by now?

Wishful thinking, if they have a lot of a particularly shall we say “suspect for modification” items in stock I am tempted to think they will use em up! That’s why it’s always better to buy a car late in its production cycle as they generally start to “get it right” by then. So the XC90 should be just about perfect by now!

I got my car two weeks ago having been built in February and it had the wind noise issue, so don't get your hopes up. If there is a problem with the new car the dealers are normally good at getting it sorted. I wouldn't worry about it though. Enjoy it when it arrives.
