Default Gillingham and Shaftsbury Motoring Pagent

I am writing to inform you of The NEW Show from organisers Helen Morton (nee Norcombe) and Jason Lunn, Classic car and bike show organisers with more than 34 years experience between them!

Gillingham & Shaftesbury Motoring Pageant, taking place at Turnpike Showground, Dorset on Sunday 26th June 2011.

Staged at the superb and beautiful Turnpike Showground near Shaftesbury this new show on the classics calendar provides the South West with a great and valuable day out for classic enthusiasts and families alike. With hundreds of cars and bikes on show, clubs, autojumble, general trade, a licensed bar, fun fair and so much more it’s a day not to be missed. Opening times are 10am – 5pm.

I would like to invite your club to take a stand the show.

Exhibitor Entries:
You can display your Classic at the show. Whether you have a pre-war car, a classic motor-cycle, military vehicle, stationary engine, hot rod or custom, bus, tractor or a competition car there is somewhere for everyone. So get your entry booked in and bring it along! A £5 admin charge per vehicle / engine is required, including one ticket for the driver / owner and passenger. Please find enclosed your Exhibitor Entry booking form on line at www.gillinghampageant.com

Club stands:
If you would like to book a club stand at the event please get in touch. A simple form is required from you detailing the amount of vehicles you wish to bring along. All club and show cars will need to pay a small administration charge of £4 per car, not per stand (this includes a ticket for the driver and passenger), this is just to cover our costs. These are in short supply and need to be booked fast. Please note unfortunately we cannot confirm club stands until the admin charge has been received.

Just coming to look? - Book your tickets now and save:
If you are coming for the day, tickets are just £5 for adults (£8 on the day), £3 for children (5-15 years) (£4 on the day) For day tickets only call 0844 854 1353 (24 hrs), or fill in the enclosed leaflet.

Cars For Sale:
Do you want to sell your Classic? If so, please let us know as we have a ‘Cars for Sale’ area. Once again a simple form will be required to enter your vehicle. Entry into this section is just £15 per car plus a reduced price ticket for the driver.

Make and Model Parking:
For the make and model parking section vehicles up to present day. This will be an amazingly popular area is where you can bring your car into the show and park it in a row along with many others of the same make and model. Why not bring yours along and talk to people just like you with similar interests. Drivers and passengers must purchase a show ticket to enter the area @ £4.00 which includes 2 tickets. Please call for an entry form or download one from www.gillinghampageant.co.uk website.

If you have further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kindest regards

Helen
