200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

The parts shop believe they know what I am on about now and have ordered them. I must say after having a day or two working on various little jobs that these things are a pleasure to work on! I have spent my life working on old lorrys tractors and landrovers and this just seems like a walk in the park (touch wood)!

Thanks for the help and advice, it may not solve the annoying knocking, I realise, but had managed to deduce that it was probably the easiest one to rule out first. I looked at the trailing arm bushes and thought it was definitely a job for another day, week, month, year etc....

All of these parts are available from Brookhouse. Simon WILL know what you're talking about. Depending on what time you order you'll normally get the parts next day.
