Default V70 stainless backbox or straight pipe

Hi guys,

I want to delete the backbox on my 2005 V70 D5 with either a straight through pipe or a stainless backbox etc. Has anyone got something suitable for sale or know of anywhere that has such a thing off the shelf?

Cheers

Ben

Default Ferrita stainless exhausts...

I have Ferrita's stainless sports cat back in stock for your car. it is the one that will otherwise fit the V70 T5.

i am not quite sure why you would want to take out the rear box.

If you are looking to create a more noticeable sound then it is best to take out the centre box of the standard system.

Don.

Hi Don,

I wanted to just take the backbox off to make it sound better, I'd expect the backbox to make much more difference than the centre box as it is just straight through whereas the backbox isn't.

I wasn't looking to spend quite as much as a Ferrita whole system though as my centre section is fine.

Cheers

I fitted a straight pipe to mine as the back box was rotten.it was quite loud on idle and did drone on the motor way ..wished I hadn't done it but the noise when in a built up area on boost was epic, sounds like a jet
