Only reason that I bought HCF is because the Polo has a few repairs in primer, the car had a few dents from hailstones hence the purchase price was right.

A mate of mine painted his MPV import with 40 Satin black rattle cans from a pound shop, it looked great when he had finished, £40 for a full respray takes some beating.

How much did you use for the polo? I was looking at getting a 5ltr primer and the same in colour.

Exactly that, but it's almost half the size of a wagon, most plastidip colours are pretty transparent, I was told that Black covers best but we wanted red so not to clash with the red painted interior.

So I took my 240 turbo out for its first drive around tonight, it's pretty fun! I've got a couple of issues with the alternator earth and the propshaft bearing spring support thingy. I think it's rubbing on the bearing and squeaking.

The lower profile tyres, strut braces and rear Koni shocks make it handle sweet!
