MOT time
It's MOT time
apart from the usual things ( breaks susspension play etc ) is there anything that the 240 's are perticular to failing on ? it's a 91 2.0 Auto Estate as its an older car and im normaly putting a five year old or younger van through just wondered if the was any common problems |

Good luck slap it in and see! I'd say that if it fails it'll be fairly easy to fix, especially with help from here.
I've had my Tank for 10years. Bought with 148k now has 209k . Since owning, has failed one with a duff lower ball-joint on the front and once with track rod ends. Nowt serious

Mine sailed through MOTs until it was about 22 years old but since then there always seems to be something- pretty minor and cheap to fix though usually.
The exception was last year when a holy drivers floor, front crossmember and some other bits needed welding which I was blissfully unaware of. Took it to my trusted welder to be done as quality of some MOT garages can be variable for welding in my experience. |
