Hi volvo again, yes I had to fit the levelling motors from the old h/lights. I am assuming that the new h/lights came with the two manual adjusters. They are from a good manufacturer in Germany. Should the ball and socket be connected then I have no idea why the manual adjusters are not working. jack.

Hej Jack,

if we are talking about Hella, it was a good choice and should fit without Problems, as Hella is also the manufacturer of the genuine ones.
If you put the headlights out and remove the lens, it will be a lot easier to get the ball clicked in, because then you can put up some resistance on the reflektor. And drive the rod in it´s max out position. Then it should work quite easy.
