Brake light switck
Getting ready to fit new master cylinder. Is there a polarity issue here? I think not but just want second opinion

Short answer: No Long Explanation: Switch with single contact (like oil pressure) makes a connection to chassis, and you could verify this with a continuity tester. Two contacts on switch, mean there is an isolated contact inside (which you could also verify with a continuity test from each terminal to chassis), and you can connect the two wires from harness either way...but I'm sure by now you know how I feel about the pressure sensing switch...activated by that switch, please check your Brakelight function often, and consider adding a Pedal Position Sensing Switch!
