Upper control arm lubrication
Hi, having trouble greasing through the eccentric. Probably blocked with hard grease. Any suggestions as how to deal with this other than dismantling.

possibly run a heat gun over the area to soften the grease.

Can't quite get my head around this. After undoing the net on the end and loosening the clamp, is it just a matter of unscrewing the bolt. How does the eccentric fit into this. Will I need to have the camber/castor? re set? I get the feeling that this is a job that will turn round and bite me.

If you mark up where the eccentric nut sits, and refit in the same place you will not be too far away.I think it can be wound right round and round which moves it forward and backward on the bolt, this will change the castor angle,so again you need to check distances from either side of the inner edge of the upper wishbone. The wishbones have a sort of rough thread in them ,so they need to be aligned well when you replace the bolt.Hope this helps.
