If he didn't have the battery charged and put in power mode then the car will not give him the full bhp.

Also he says that it is the most powerful Volvo ever produced with 405bhp. I am pretty sure my car has 407bhp and that is now 4 years old.....

Who buys family sedans and/or wagons to drag race them?.. this is another one of Mat’s pointless videos (right next to G63 vs. Jimny thug war..) A 2-ton hybrid with 80% power at the front is just not designed with 1/4 mile records in mind. But it shows its qualities elsewhere (eg. midrange acceleration, 0-60 time, etc..)

I like Matt's videos, but the surprise really is the AMG losing to the BMW based on stated 0-60 times.

BMW M340i 0-60 time: 4.2 sec.
Mercedes E53 0-60 time: 4.0 sec.
Audi S4 Avant 0-60 time: 4.6 sec.
Volvo S60 Polestar 0-60: 4.6 sec.

Also If any one who owns a T8 if the battery is close to empty does it still perform?

‘Power mode’ is always available regardless of battery charge level and if in hold; the starter-generator runs as required. 407 horses ready to go when needed!
