Been to the dealer and the general manger came out and greeted me. We sat down and he apologised for the issues and said one issue is bad enough but the number I have is unacceptable. He said leave it with us to sort out and we will do everything that is required.
Reference rear windscreen he said if it needs one they will replace it and just order a tinted one to save hassle. Not an issue; apologised didn’t give me a time line but said it will all get sorted and apologised for the issues. Keys will be ordered or programmed and they will take a look at the led headlights. Been given a new xc60 with H&K sound and a new B style engine, no cost involved for me to keep for as long a they have my car on there insurance. Last edited by shoppy; Jan 17th, 2020 at 13:50. |

That sounds like the perfect outcome to me - they're putting everything right without any cost to you and providing you with a really nice temporary car whilst they're doing it.
Hopefully they'll get this fixed in a few days and all will be well. Whilst they're not quite the closest dealer to me, they're certainly within a decent radius - it's reports like this that mean that I'll definitely be dropping in to have a chat with them when the time comes to change my car. Thanks for the update, really pleased for you. |

Just to clarify this is not Poole Volvo who are dealing with the issue. I purchased my s60 from Poole and they did a stand up job. This is from a dealer in the midlands; I have not named them as I thought I would let them resolve the issues before naming.
" Shame really as Poole Volvo did a great job; this comment was in reference to my S60 which poole Volvo had tinted and it was a great job". Realised reading back it did not make sense; so my apologies.
