1800S Upper Door Trims Wanted
Hi, seems these aren't available new, so does anyone out there have a decent pair going spare, or a LH one which needs a clean up.
Cheers, Pete. |

I've got a few of them. I pulled a set and photographed for a guy before Xmas. He decided to wait till later. I will get photographs in the next day or two as I'm swamped right now...

Hi Pete, Go on to VP Autoparts website. They have new 1800 panels in a variety of colours. Selling for approximately £90. Let us know how you get on.

Cheers Chris, look forward to hearing from you. Just to confirm I'm referring to the chrome trim along the top of the door.

Sorry Chris. I thought you were referring to the interior door trim.

I was thinking you were asking about the 'chrome' strips near the top of the door. See the attached photos.
I have one of the ones that came on the 's' car. This is a left and is really polished alumn. This one is in good shape. Not perfect but very good. I also have a set (left and right) of ones that came from a Jensen ('p') car. These were stamped brass that were then chromed. These are also very straight but there are a few minor spots in the chrome. If you are looking for show car stuff, you could have these rechromed and be at 100%. The alumn. ones could polish up but they will never be as nice as a set of rechromed ones. Dimensionally they are exactly the same. The photos show the brass/chrome ones on the top and the alumn. on on the bottom. I'm happy to send more photos if you wish. Let me know your thoughts. Chris agent_strangelove@hotmail.com |

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the photos, I'd be interested in the single LH ally one you have, do you have a price in mind incl shipping to the UK, also what would you want for all 3, I could use the ally one whilst I have the others re-chromed. I've been told new stainless ones will be available this summer by 2 suppliers, but last summer they were saying October, so I'm not holding my breath. Speak soon, cheers, Pete. |
